Judging Others

[Matthew 7:1-5] Lord, please help us not to judge and to remember that by so doing we, too, will be judged.  For in the same way that we judge others, we will be judged, and with the measure that we use, it will be measured to us.  Please help us not to look at the speck of sawdust in our brother’s eyes and pay no attention to the plank in your own eyes.  Please help us to see the plank in our own eyes and to first take the plank out of our own eyes.  For it is then that we will all see clearly to remove the speck from our brother’s eyes.  Please help us to always look for the face of Christ and for the goodness in all that we meet.  Please help us to be generous to those in need, for in so doing, we may be administering to Angels and even to Jesus Christ Himself.  Please help us always to be prudent in our approach with the love of the Lord in our hearts in all that we do.  We ask you this in Jesus’ name.  Amen.
