In His Hands

John 10:27-30:

Jesus said: “My sheep hear my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish. No one can take them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one can take them out of the Father’s hand. The Father and I are one.”

In John 10, Jesus lays it all out for those who Believe in Him.  No matter what, those who decide to follow Jesus will always be able to discern His voice – even in the noise of this world.  As His sheep, Jesus knows us and we obediently follow Him.  Nobody, not even satan himself, can take us out of His Hands, because His Hands are His Father’s Hands – and nobody is greater than God.  That should be reassuring for all of those who Believe and compelling to those who are considering a life with Jesus Christ.  So, when we feel lost in a world gone mad, we simply need to settle our Souls and listen for the Father’s Voice.  The Good Shepherd’s Voice is always clear and always speaks Truth and Life into our hearts.  It’s His Voice and what He commands that will lead His sheep into the Eternal Pasture with Him.
