We Win

John 20:1-9:

On the first day of the week, Mary of Magdala came to the tomb early in the morning, while it was still dark, and saw the stone removed from the tomb. So she ran and went to Simon Peter and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and told them, “They have taken the Lord from the tomb, and we don’t know where they put him.” So Peter and the other disciple went out and came to the tomb. They both ran, but the other disciple ran faster than Peter and arrived at the tomb first; he bent down and saw the burial cloths there, but did not go in. When Simon Peter arrived after him, he went into the tomb and saw the burial cloths there, and the cloth that had covered his head, not with the burial cloths but rolled up in a separate place. Then the other disciple also went in, the one who had arrived at the tomb first, and he saw and believed. For they did not yet understand the Scripture that he had to rise from the dead.

Easter is our annual earthly reminder that, in the end, Jesus wins; God wins; and, for Believers, we win.  That, no matter what we’ve done in this world, if we repent of our sins and accept Jesus into our hearts, we will live and reign with Him Forever.  That’s right – that’s any sin, anywhere, anytime.  If we confess it to our Lord, He will forgive and cleanse us as only the Holy Spirit can do.  While many still try to dispel the Truth of Jesus’ Resurrection, they cannot deny that the Christian movement is still fundamentally-changing the world today as it did immediately on day 1 of Jesus Resurrection from the tomb.  Atheists will argue all sorts of angles as temporary pawns for satan, but they never, ever win the argument that God, Jesus, and Heaven are not real.  And, nobody on the devil’s team (including Lucifer himself) wants to admit that they’re going to lose and lose HUGE!!!  While Miracles have continued to Bless the world over the 2,000+ years since Jesus first arrived in the Bethlehem Manger, some people continue to doubt; sometimes, even, we doubt.  Let us all remember this Easter Season the Gift that Jesus is offering to everyone.  Let us use this Easter Season to spread His Good News to those around us who might not be sure about Jesus just yet.  And, let us sing His Praises on Easter Sunday for the Amazing Grace that we’ve all been Offered!
